Not much special... the routine. Got to get the christmas tree out soon and start the decorations.

Perhaps some dinner at a friend's place (friend of my mum mainly) at the eve.

You haven't put up your tree yet? We put ours up super early. The weekend after Thanksgiving. But it was the timing. If we wanted to do it as a family we had to do it that weekend. If not the hubby would have been working and it would have just been my son and I.

Red, I am glad the Saints finally lost a game. I thought I would just clarify that. Haha.

I did the same thing. Thanksgiving was on the 26th and the tree was up on the 29th. So anyone have any ideas on what to get my parents for under $40.00. I am clueless

Good luck with that Adam. My mother is impossible to buy for. She hates everything, wants nothing and what she gets she returns. So I just ride around and grab random gifts cards for her. One size fits all.

Yes, no thanksgiving here... and we always put up the christmas tree some days before the 25th.

A clock perhaps? Clothes? A handbag? Jewels?

Sunny, A gift card isn't a bad idea but I figure it is one of those things that it's the thought that counts kind of things. Haha. You are helping me Unky. Thanks.

Well Adam that's all that's left that my mom won't complain about. But I agree with unky. Does she wear perfume? Get her some of her favorite. You can buy solid gold earrings that are nice for that range. I know because I have done it.

Hmmm, we've got some lichee this year. Though less than last year. My mum just went out to a friend's place to fetch some. The only thing I hate about them is that you can often find one on which a fly has laid its egg and upon opening, you find a small larva inside... ugh!

    I have acquired a 3rd fish.
Now I have 3 tanks in my room.

My boyfriend is back for the Holidays, and his house(s) (his parents are divorced) are too cold, and the fish wasn't looking too hot, SO, I'm fish-sitting. He trained it to nip your finger when you put it in there. It's just a little betta, so it tickles, but I guess he would put his finger in there, let it bite him, and put in food, every time he fed it, so now it's a cute little attack fishy. :) it also lets you pet it. Cool huh?

Oh dear, what is happening to here. Everyone is wanting chocolate. And mostly it is people in other countries. Odd. In this country we eat a couple boxes and we are happy. I don't though, just making a point of why we are the most obese country in the world.
