2 shts a day. Your lucky. Try 3 shots in the morning. 1 fixed dose pen, 1 variable, 1 13 units long acting, 1 shot lunch; 2 fixed dose pen dinner, 1 variable; 30 units long acting @ bedtime + 1 variable
So, that's 3 injections in the morning, 1 at lunch, 3 at dinner and 1 to 2 at bedtime for a total of 10 shots per day. Add to that 4 needle sticks and then an allergy shot every 2 weeks or so and an inhaler 2x/day + another rarely. I have you beat by 8 injections.
Don't forget the needle sticks. BTW: This is the best lancing device that I know of: https://www.accu-chek.com/us/lancing...multiclix.html
Asthma + (diabetes w/ complications) and migraines when it rains.

You have me, you 'win' Kiss. I am sorry that you have these problems my friend.
Yeah, I test three times a day also. So if we count that, 5 times, I still loose...
Good luck Kiss. Do you have type I or type II?

Type II insulin dependent, insulin resistant as opposed to mom who is type II insulin dependent insulin sensitive. Dad was type II. He needed pills and insulin injections during his cancer treatment which I gave before I needed injections. I initially gave mom's too, then prefilled her syringes.
Now she does the prefilled pens and is happy (long + short). Novalog + Levimier. Same as me. I use the Novolog cartridges and she uses the Novolog disposable pen. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. We both us the Levimier disposable pen.

Yep, it's a real pain. I wish insurances would approve the real time glucose monitoring systems. REAL-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring I saw a demo of the system. It was really nice, but expensive supplies. You don't have to use the pump to have the system.

Didn't mean to rock the boat! Got my first reddie:( I posted, what I thought was a thoughtful answer, on a Law forum. I wasn't giving a law based answer and bam I got one! Not that my answer was wrong... ScottGem even saw it, and he didn't give me one...

Don't let it get you down, one reddie isn't a big deal, compared to how many greenies you have :)
As long as its good advice you shouldn't really care what others think to be honest.

Bah, reddies are no big deal. They're more of an annoyance than anything. They look kind of out of place resting in there with the sea of green, but what can they really do to you? It's much better when people agree! Peoplealways focus on the negative for some reason, It's normal. Just be happy about the green you're growing! :)

Thanks Ohsohappy,
I must tell you... I have been using your line.
The one... "I did not hit you. . . I simply high-fived your face" lol I use it at work, with family, my girl friends, everyone laughs.
Anyway, thanks again. You are so right. And I am happy about growing green.:)

Like Alty told me when I got my first reddie, you can't have Christmas with just greenies, there's got to be red too! ;)
