Here in the States a brand name has become generic for those things. Like Kleenex and Band-aids before it, string trimmers are usually referred to as Weed-eaters.
As for the thank you, you ARE cute and I AM kinky, so live with it.

They have this plastic stuff like thick fishing line that spins around at the base and cuts grass/weeds.
I don't know what you call them there but here's a picture...

Looks like the 1101 model. I went with the name brand, as the Craftsman and B & D ones I've had before burned out on my fence in just a couple of seasons. The yellow sucker's going strong after four.

Lol Adam, I have no idea.. I googled whipper snipper and that was the smallest picture :D
We have a petrol one... bargain $99 :D
Cool, I now know to refer to them as weed-eaters on AMHD ;)
Edit - Sorry GASOLINE not petrol :p

Hi! I really need any help you can give. Im trying to look for a film with Oliver Read in it and to be honest I can't remember much of the story line! All I can remember is- I think it was a similar story line to Straw Dogs.
