Stickies are for information that is pertinent to a specific forum. Usually a thread is made a sticky because the info in the thread answers many of the questions usually posted in that forum.

This is a great thread, but, as a poll, for fun, it's not really something that would help anyone.

As for the thread being open for a long time. It will either last until 1500 posts or until the mods close it.
