    Ah, red tape... the only thing stickier than duct tape, and more used.

    Yes, it's Labor Day here in the States.

    Edit: Sounds tasty, Bear. We've got some beef marinading that was supposed to be grilled, but I guess it's oven broil today.

    Ok, I googled C++ and came up with those:

    1. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)
    2. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
    3. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
    4. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
    5. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)

    I don't know what to use...

    Ahhhh, right, well to write programs at the moment I'm using visual studio 2005 (I need to update it and get visual studio 2008) that allows me to write in C++, C and C# as long as I choose the right file types :)

    I think the Microsoft visual C++ is just for using C++
    Ill have a look into them for you :)

    Well, Cats, I know nothing about C++ except that it's a game programming software. I was sort of asking what to use. Bear is the specialist there :)

    It seems they are service packs (sp) and they are there to help you program in C++ if ou have visual studio
