    Pre-Natal Vitamins
Do pre-natal vitamins really help your hair and nails grow faster? Or is it just healthier? What are the other positive aspects other than the obvious? NOT TRYING!

STUPID QUESTION: Will these interfere with my birth control?

There is no evidence that prenatal vitamins help with hair and nails.I know it is widely accepted but there is no scientific proof.

The pnv's are higher in concentrations of folic acid, iron and calcium.

FYI,I was always constipated when on pnv's.It has something to do with the calcium and iron in the same pill.I had to take them separately.

There are products specifically designed to help your hair and nails.

Here are some foods that help as well.
Have no clue about the birth control.

Eat high-quality protein foods. Eggs are a good source as long as you don't have cholesterol problems.
    #
    Step 2

Eat grains, legumes, nuts and seeds.
    #
    Step 3

Make sure your diet is composed of 50 percent fresh fruits and vegetables.
    #
    Step 4

Add sulfur- and silicon-rich foods to diet. Onions, broccoli, fish and sea vegetables are all good sources.
    #
    Step 5

Eat food rich in biotin, such as brewer's yeast, brown rice and soybeans.
    #
    Step 6

Sprinkle ground flaxseed on your cereal. It provides essential fatty acids.
    #
    Step 7

Eat foods high in B vitamins.
    #
    Step 8

Drink tea made from alfalfa, burdock root, dandelion, and yellow dock.

I lost the site where I found it so sorry ,I have no link!

I have been taking Pre-natal vitamins while trying to get pregnant. Someone told me that it makes your body think you are already pregnant and it's harder to get pregnant on them? I don't think this is true at all, since I have read a lot on this. Anyone else like to confirm that for me?
