I wonder if my ex misses me.
Today I decided to go out and do some yard work. Somewhere in between the pine needles and the hot sun, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
I wondered why he tried to talk to me a few weeks ago. Did he miss me and want to get back together? Or was he trying to see if I was still wrapped around his finger?
I wondered why I wasn't good enough for him. After all I've accomplished, after everything I am as a person, after everything I gave and felt for him... I wasn't enough.
He didn't want me anymore.
I somehow doubt I really cared about the guy I was "crushing" on a month ago. I think I just wanted a distraction. Chances are that guy would grow tired of me, too.
Sometimes I think I would be better off being alone the rest of my life. I'm only 19, and I'd rather be alone the rest of my life.
It's kind of funny of how people steal away your faith in things.
But even worse, steal away pieces of you.

How long ago did you two break up?
Torrid, I dated a lot of guys before I met hubby. A lot of guys (be good Stringer;)).
There were jerks that slapped me around, heck, put me in the hospital. There were guys that even after I broke up with them, had to have me, so they followed me, sent me flowers, slept in a car outside my house, called over and over and over again, sent jewelry and no matter how many times I told them no, they wouldn't listen.
Thankfully two of them finally listened when the police stepped in. The other guy didn't listen until the restraining order went through.
I've dated guys that were so sweet you wanted to vomit, seriously vomit.
I dated guys that were such arseholes that even their mothers didn't like them.
I've dated pretty much every personality you could think of.
Before I met hubby I had just ended a 2 year relationship. He was nice enough (okay, he hit me once, I forgave him, there were circumstances, I cheated on him, he got mad, beat the snot out of me, you, I know, I know, anyway) but I didn't feel anything for him. On Valentine's day he gave me a ring, asked me to marry him and I freaked out. I was 19, he was older. I did not love him. Long story short, I left, told him I'd think about it, a few days later I broke up with him.
Around one month later my friend had a birthday party at a club. She asked me to come along. I really didn't feel like it, but I thought, what the heck, go for it. I dressed in ratty old jeans, my dads white sweater, threw my hair up in a pony tail, didn't even bother with makeup, and I went.
That night I met hubby. Who'd have thunk it?
We've been together ever since, that was 19 years ago.
Don't swear off men yet, there are good ones out there and you never know when you're going to meet one. :)

Hey Alty I know this was from yesterday but this is even more sad. I go to the gym nearly every day, for 2 years now. My Witt Fitness said I was 73!! I am 36. What the heck! Gave my son a good laugh.

Well I bought a WII bundle. I got the game, 2 controllers, 2 numchucks and 14 games for less then 400, I think it was like 385.
A DS I am not quite sure yet I haven't started looking at those.

$400 = 400*32= R 12,800.
 wow, that's quite expensive! My economies don't even reach the 10, 000... :(
I got my DS for R 3,600, that makes 3600/32 ~ $ 115 (after 'breaking down the price :D)
