I have a 4" floor drain in a concrete slab. What's the easiest way to convert it for use as a sink drain? Does the sink need a trap since the floor drain has one? Thanks, Matt

I am on city service. I would like to connect my basement washer drain into the existing floor drain (3" line). I cut the line about 3 feet down from floor trap and installed a 3x2inch y. This existing floor drain takes a 45 turn about 6" down from where I cut it. The 2 inch will drain the washer ....
Ok to tie a wet bar drain into a drain pipe coming from 1st floor.

I'm finishing my basement in a newer house and want to add a wet bar. There is a 2" PVC drain pipe coming from the 1st floor that is for the washing machine drain. It has a clean out plug on it also. Can I just add a wye or Santee for the bar drain and do I need an Air Admittance Valve for venting....
