LOL, I was laughing at your whole post, because I would switch you positions in a heartbeat.
I have worked in financing and human resources. I thought this would be a great position and I hate my job everyday. Lawyers are a different breed, buckle up it's a bumpy ride.
Hope you smile a lot. :) cause while you are smiling you are grinding your teeth.
Before I started the job though I had a good deal of legal background just with being overactive through my divorce and custody situation.
It's a good variety of work, decent pay, but a lot of dumpage, if you understand and you are the low man on the totem pole so no one else to dump to.
I have enough down time, but I get super frustrated with the 'better than thou' attitudes.

Ya I was wondering about that. I hate those who like to feel "superior" to others. Which I expected. I am the type to say "hey buddy my money is green to" I have always worked at banks and it's a natural thing for me and I love it. But I was pretty hurt in my last position so I was going to take a new career path. But I don't know. I am just applying for s@#ts and giggles right now.

With this economy, I think that's about all you can do.
Lawyers go with too options and you are one of them. No legal experience and then they can train the people the way they would like or lots of legal experience, depends on the attorney.

I will see. The thing is I get paid pretty OK here so I don't want to lose money. I am trying mainly to get in to the local private college. But its pretty tough. I should stick with banking but since I started compared to now its changed so much. The 911 thing changed so many laws and rules its scary. Miss one period at the end of a line and your fired. I won't jump at anything just yet but I will keep my eyes open for sure. I just had a tough morning and haven't had a raise in over 2 years and finally said I was done. I am so done. I can't take it. He can't run a business but all the employees get the blame. Whatever!

Cheers to me! So I went and opened a beer. Lol I am all fired up.

Well that's the only benefit here, the boss doesn't care if we sip. Well some days at the end of the day it can get pretty heavy. But it's a flooring store so really how many people shop flooring during a day. He even built this counter in the shape of a bar with stools on the other side. Puh-leaze already OK I will drink! Lol

POP... Fizz... smell the aroma of fresh cold brew... mmmm yours justy!

Yep, that's what I was thinking too! :p the documentary was making this as if the end of the world was near, and all the rest of the students kept saying it to each other: "Hey, you have 5 billion years until the end of the world" lol!

Downstairs doomed [ 3 Answers ]

My husband (who is in the military) and I moved into an apartment complex a year ago. To summarize, the...
