    Faucet for pipes that are not in the wall
    I am looking for a faucet for a mop sink. I am installing the mop sink in an existing old bus garage at a school. Currently the water lines are run on the wall and are retrofited. I need a recommendation for a faucet that will work. We will be removing the existing laundry tub. Please see picture below. Thanks for your help!

    By "how will it work" I assume you're asking how to connect this valve,(see image) to the existing exposed pipes. You will strap the copper supplies to the wall with pipe straps and solder on elbos and a very short piece of copper.
    You will tape and thread in two 1/2" male threaded adapters in the valve. Solder in the adapters, secure the upper bracket to the wall and you're back in business. Good luck, Tom

    Melissa gave you excellent lead. Also, check into Chicago line of faucet. Chicago is leader in commercial and industrial faucets. Their faucets are used in hospitals, labs, factories etc. They are very well built and coated with double-heavy coat of chrome.

    As Tom suggests, you will have to use drop 90's and close brass nipple to connect faucet to the plumbing.
