    Probation Violation!
My friend about a year ago was in a car accident with a light pole in Ohio and was under the influence also underage... They put her on probation for I think two years or until she was 21. In march she was sent to jail for violating probation and drinking again... This time it was in her house and her parents turned her in... I heard she would be surving anywhere from 90 days to 6 months but I have no idea... Does anyone have an idea of how long she will be in there and if she will be surving the full term? Any ideas are appriceated.

    Thank you

    Hello:

We could GUESS, but that's all it would be. There are MANY, MANY factors the judge will take into consideration and we know ONE of them.

PS> I will say that parents who put their children in jail, should themselves GO TO JAIL.

Her parents turned her in? Shame shame on them! Boo on you parents that turn your backs on your children. As far as how much time she will do, is up to the judge and the circumstances before her original arrest and during her probation and of course the situation when ahhm her parents turned her in.
Was she drinking at home? Where her parents live? Hmm something to check into. Maybe the parents shouold be held somewhat liable for contributing to a minor ? You think

Thanks for your help... here's the story of how her parent's turned her in. Her and her older brother live with her parents and one night her brother and his girlfriend were up drinking after they had left or whatever they left the alcohol on the table... the next morning her parent woke up and accused her brother of drinking way too much and then driving (he is of legal age)... after he denied it they turned to her and she said she did it so then they turned her in... she went to court or whatever that following week and the judge put her back on probation for a longer period... Almost a month goes by and she gets a phone call from her attorney telling her that the judge didn't know she violated probation and that she will be going to jail at the end of the week... Now her parents are not big fans of mine so I have no way of finding anything out... So I found this message board and figured post what's going on and maybe someone can help me and give me some views... Her 90 days is today so I have no idea when she is getting out.
