If you have a standard shower arm coming out of the wall you should be fine. If you have something unusual please tell us more or attach a pic.

I wouldn't worry too much. Your shower arm's secured by two screws through a drop eared ell,(see image) into 2 X 4 backing.
Besides, I just put one in my shower and it hasn't fallen yet. Happy rub-a-dub! Tom

They actually sell a flange that goes around shower are that has 2 screws. You attach the flange to the wall. This helps to support shower arm.

Most of the time, Rain Shower head installs on the ceiling. Is your on the ceiling or wall ?

If it is in the ceiling that don't worry about it at all. You are fine. If it was on the wall, than you could have a problem with weight. Just install it and enjoy it...

    Hey Afra2000...

That looks like a kohler shower head and there should be a template that comes with it to pipe it up correctly. You will need (4) 3/4" copper x 1/2" female tee fittings and some 3/4" copper street 90s. The instructions also describe EXACTLY how to hang this shower head system as it is quite heavy with all the fittings and piping required.

If this is not a kohler shower head let us know the name brand so we can advise better... ;)

Check out the included instructions... let us know if you have any more questions.
