My attendance has been minimal today. Mostly PMing. No real interesting threads today.

Which thread did you mean to disagree on?

Yes I was absent today. Alty had a tummy problem, drove the kids to school then crawled back into bed. I dreamt about all of you though, that should count for something.

I feel better now, but I missed all the action.

Rome, wedding plans, just elope, really, do it!

I was the one that wanted a no fuss no frills wedding. I even suggested a cruise, get married on the ship and instant honeymoon afterwards. Hubby wanted the bells and whistles, so did our parents, so we did the whole white dress, tux's, fancy dinner, fancy ballroom thing.

The only thing I insisted on was that the church part would be short and sweet, nowhere in the vows would the words "honor and obey" appear, and a limo with lots of alcohol had to be waiting when we were done.

We had an open bar too, $10,000 dollars later we really regretted it. What can I say, 120 people, mostly my family, the alcohol will be flowing.

Honeymoon in Hawaii, poor hubby couldn't walk for the majority of the time. Honestly, there's something about Hawaii that makes me horny as hell (okay, more horny then usual). At one point he sent a postcard to his best friend saying "If we don't leave soon, she's going to kill me with sex!" Poor baby. ;)

I'm feeling better Stringer, I think I just needed to sleep. Lots of stress lately, it's taken its toll.

Yes, Hawaii, ahh, the smell, the sights, the ocean, the atmosphere. Ahhhhh. I want to go back!

We went to Oahu. I loved it. Two weeks in paradise, it was hard coming back home.

Simply enchanting and very beautiful... words fail me... The honeymoon was my second trip, promised the wife that I would take her back sometime... She wouldn't leave the islands unless I promised ha ha.

How did you do that without your visa and passport by the way?

It was my honeymoon, that was 14 years ago come May 27, had a valid passport then.

I'm a landed immigrant. So, when I travel, all I need is my German passport and my landed immigrant papers.

My passport expired 2 years ago, the German consulate is in Victoria, which wouldn't be a problem. In the past I've just had all my documents notarized here then sent to the consulate. Recently they started including finger print ID on their passports, so now I have to do it in person, I cannot just send notarized documents. It sucks. :(

I've been trying to get her to agree to elope, but her last marriage was a court house wedding and she didn't want to get married, ended up married and regretted it everyday they were together, didn't sleep in the same bed or anything. So this time, she wants the real thing, and a wedding dress. What makes me angry is that her mom gave her sh*t before about not inviting her, then we tell her about it and she says "we may come"

I am glad you are feeling better! It wasn't the same without you

Did you miss me? Awwww, and I have it in writing.

Just do what she wants, it's only one day. You might as well practice now, nod and say "yes dear". :D
