There is a cure Adam.
Here's what you do. You find someone you love, really care about, introduce them to the game, let them use your computer to play it. Soon you will no longer have the option to play as they will be on the computer night and day trying to beat the best score.
I had to pry hubby of the puter yesterday at 3am, he works at 7am. His eyes were all puffy and red, and all he kept saying was "2.3, that's my best, I can do better, just one more time, I promise".
I think I may have to delete the game somehow, or distract him when he gets home. :(

Yeah then what sucks is when you are like me getting angry that someone is interferring with my computer time.

Don't I know it.
Why the heck does my husband think he can use my computer? Really? I don't think so.
So what if we do our banking on line. The taxes? Do them after I go to bed. I mean really, I only have 14 hours of awake time to use this thing, not nearly enough! ;)

Admitting the addiction is the first step, but I am not ready for step two.
Guess I will have to stay in here and blow.
I am dying for my cause... hehe.
How are you doing, Alty?

Other then the fact that Stringer blew me up, I'm okay. How about you?
Today is laundry and house tidying day. Have I ever mentioned that I don't like these chores? Ya, you, I know, I mention it repeatedly. I think I doth protest too much. :(
Darnit, I need a maid, or at least a hubby that helps. Okay, whine, whine, whine, get me some cheese.
Starby, do you have my cheese?

LMAO!
I didn't allow myself to get hooked. The first night I did it I realized it could easily happen (a la Solitaire) so I closed out the game window and left it alone. I did it twice yesterday but then ran in the other direction. I will not go back down that path!

I just love the idea that I am still earning money for my addiction... geesh... that is sweet.
What would I do with a job where they required me to work away from a PC?

In Memorial to you...
You will be honored, stories will be told for all eternity around patio fireplaces, people will raise the glasses to you, your pictures (taken from the members' thread) will be hung with honor on the exalted wall of those who have sacrificed themselves for the good of all of us.
Raise your glasses... 'here, here... to these brave souls'
Now who is going to pay to have this mess cleaned up? I can't do it for free you know...

You set the bomb! You can clean it up for free by yourself. No help for you.
BTW, there aren't patio fireplaces in jail... that is where people go when they set off bomb, you know.

Handcuffed by Boring Job

I am at another one of those proverbial crossroads in my life. I'm in my early 30's, have a law degee (with almost $100,000 of debt), and have a 1 yr. old son. I spend my days at a job (non legal) that pays just enough to live on. I do not want to sit in a cubicle my whole life. But since I...

Hi,
I was moving around a room and noticed my wife wanted her desk elsewhere. I decided to, since she would have her computer on it, check the outlet she would be moving to.
