    Science Fiction Anime
    Hi there Guys and Gals!

    I have spent the last few days searching for an anime movie that I think is from the late 80's/early 90's (It could be earlier) I do not know the name of the Movie. I think it was Published/distributed By Orion (This might not be ). The only real thing I can remember is the initial part of the movie. It Opens in a mine where people are working and mining and placing stuff into carts and pray to what they think is a rock/deity. One of them (the main character who I think is a young man) escapes by hiding in a cart under the ore goes into the mouth of the deity (whilst everyone else worships it) once he goes past the mouth his surroundings turn into steel and he finds himself in a much more technologically advanced environment.

    Any help here would be great :)
