The lyrics are not Dance, Gdansk but sound like it
I'm trying to find the name of a song I heard recently. I thought the lyrics in the chorus were saying "So dance, Gdansk" but there's nothing like that I could find anywhere, so it's probably something that sounds similar, but is something that makes more sense.

The song I'm trying to find is fairly new, possibly dance or alternative as it has a fast beat. The lyrics are sung by a male. The verses are a bit slower and quieter than the chorus, which has a lyric sounding like what I mentioned above.

I would know it in a few bars if I heard it again, but unfortunately I cannot remember any other words.

I'm pretty sure the song you're thinking of is "You're gonna go far kid" by the Offspring. I though they were saying "Dance Gdansk" too but I just looked it up and I think it's because the radio cuts off part of the word that is sounds like that. Read the lyrics here:

And see them on YouTube here: YouTube - The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid

Okay, okay, I know the description isn't really helpful. Well, personally, I remember always hearing it at indoor ice-skating with all the other dance/techno tracks. I heard it again a few days ago when I was at an indoor funfair/carnival and, try as I might, I couldn't find it. I asked...

Looking for yet another dance song with no lyrics [ 1 Answers ]

I'm looking for this song that I believe came out in the 90's. It kind of hard to describe because there aren't any lyrics. It sounds to me to be keyboards with 2 main "tones"; a low tone and a high tone. Here is an attempt to type it: Low tone: Dudot Dudot du du du dudot High tone:...
