Our health care is definitely less expensive, but, depending on where you live, winter's are definitely hard here!

I'm originally from Germany, moved here when I was 3 1/2 years old. I'm still not use to the winters. They suck! ;)
I want to visit Germany someday. I heard from a woman that came from there a couple of years ago that German is not spoken as much as English is. I took a couple years of German in High School. I'm a little rusty though

Germany is beautiful, so much to see. I miss it, and my family too.

I speak fluent German, but I've gotten rusty too since my parents died.

I haven't been back since 2001 but we're planning a trip in the next year or two.

Most of the people in Germany speak English, it depends on where you go. If you go to the smaller towns then you'll have to speak German, but the tourist spots you can get by on English.

Germany is beautiful, but I had to wear a sweatshirt and a jacket to a 4th of July cookout.

    That was kind of weird.

I still have no idea about any ring Sir! I swear there was a ghost around at the time. I hear it is haunted around here.

Sure. Hop into my suitcase, don't make a sound, shhhh, I don't want to get busted!

It is a lot more fun if you're with someone, especially if that someone speaks the language. ;)

It won't be a cheap trip, but it's so worth it. If we can't afford the whole family going then I'm going alone, I need to see my family! So you can come with, I'll show you the sights, I know all the hidden places. ;)

Really? Wow, when I went it was boiling hot, hot enough to cook an egg on the sidewalk! Wow!

Stringer, what do I have to do to get you to forget about the ring and give me back my whip?

    Will this do?

I'm sure speaking the language helps but I did okay with the point, smile and nod technique.

Would love to go back and do the Rhine cruise.

I'm about ready to retire to my room for a nap. I will be around until 5 which is only 40 more minutes. Then I won't be back until 6 in the morning. That seems to be when those mysterious things happen!
