    Tapering klonipon
Ive been on klonopin for about 6 months and was at 2mg a day. . 5 4 times a day. Then I went up to 3 mg. Is it easy to get back to that 2 mg dose without having a seizure. Ive only been on the 3 mg for about 2 weeks at the most. I don't like being on a higher dose than 2. Is it safe to just go back to the 2mg. Or is tapering needed.

Are you taking it for a seizure disorder or for some other reason? I take it for insomnia for instance.

No.just going back down to the 2mg. I went up to 3 and got real tired and figured I could get by with just 2. Its only been a short time.sould it be okay u think to go back down by .5 each day for like 2 days and then just back to the 2.that was my plan.

What is your doctor's plan? This should always be discussed with your doctor.

Understand it can take a few days to a few weeks for the tiredness to wear off. This is one of the main reasons for non-compliance with medication.
