The biggest change from him becoming president was to show the rest of the world that 96% of the registered black voters voted for him and that PROVES that it was because of his skin color. If that isn't American History of blacks being Racist The somebody here better get some math skills. The white vote was very close and split between the candidates. Imagine if the white voted 96% for Mc Cain there would be gunfire and riots on our streets. Sorry the black population is good at that. I'm not busting on all blacks but holy COW 96%!! Why do you think the GUN sales has reached RECORD sales. Don't believe because of just the rumor that Obama is going to try and mess with the gun laws.
The other simple reason he got in is because the white population having babies was on the decline for 20 years compared to the rest of the cultures which are good at making tons of babies to be future voters for another race vote. Which don't get me started on that percentile of comparison to percent in population of race and who by the sliding scale is proportionately WAY out of wack I do the Research as you can see below
What will it change. There is the new Pres in front of the white house and a black man states the blacks built the white house. Then 2 nights with the President and Clinton and a black man giving a speech about race saying yellow let it mellow and white isn't right and doing rhymes. From where I'm sitting if white isn't right and is such a bad race then can we have our world inventions back please!! Since we are such a slave owning culture.
I'm sure By now there are a lot of people mad at me well lets get some MORE history correct. I'm not just one of those white racist I do the research and this was NOT taught in our public schools and you see how ruff our city schools are because of our now RD world martially cultural people living their and bars on our city homes like the OTHER countries that out culture people are so proud of for what reason is beyond me. I don't have an iodinate criss. Nor do I associate My American citizenship with Britain or the Irish which is a big part of my roots
Below is a more accurate history that wasn't told and because of that the race tensions should have been different But the whites bought into the half history and that hurt all people of this country and the blacks also should know the more complete version
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony...rican_Colonial)

So In answer to your question Obama best not screw up or there going to be ### to pay and eventually the blacks will run out of excuses.
I'm not busting on the racist here and there are so ### good ones without a doubt. Even my culture friends are ashamed of there race for many reasons when most every time you pick up the paper and look at the jails it not a social ecumenical problem like that words used for an excuse. Explain Colin Powell If whites were so bad. Explain ABMs eduction and intelligent!! I would LOVE to see us all get along and prove to ourselves that EQUAL is not a gradient that way. How could a rich person be rich unless there is a poor person.
Obama has a very tough road ahead and as far as I'm concerned he is MR PRESIDENT Obhama. Not mister PRESIDENT AFRICAN AMERICAN OBHAMA don't insult the highest office in this land. Hes supposed to be just and AMERICAN and that's that! Soon as I hear the Africa word it divides the races and this country!! And The Blacks needs to get over it so the whites can accept them more as equals enough is enough stop using something that NONE of us current Americans were part of or had a say in.
Again I'm not here to insult anybody but I think it was to earlier for a black president and they way he was voted into office by a race vote. Personally I didn't like Mc vain or Obhama. I wanter Pallen to take a stab at it. Every four years Im disspointed for the picks aaaahhhh.

Before he completes a month he will ram down our throats ,by either Executive Order or Congressional legislation ,a Democrat 40 year "bucket list " that makes pure socialism look responsible by comparison.

Hello again, Mr. 450:
Let's get re-acquainted... I'm a curmudgeon. I'm a cynic. I hate politicians. I think EVERYBODY lies.
In spite of the above, however, I'm an optimist.
If Obama fails, then he does. And, I'll be the first to call your attention to it... He hasn't even had a chance yet to fail. You just don't like his policies. I got it. However, the bulk of the American public DO like his policies and elected him to DO exactly what he IS doing.
What he's doing, ISN'T failing. It's actually CORRECTING the failure of what came before. You don't have any doubt, do you, that the world NEEDS some transformation?
So, if you want to call believing in my country as having drunk the koolaid, have at it.

The bulk of the American public bought an immage that the news media sold to them
What he's doing, ISN'T failing. Lets see, it offered change, but instead is placing people in his cabinet that cannot pay their income taxes, have conflicts of interest in their finances, and are generally the good old boys school. What is different? It's actually CORRECTING the failure of what came before.By turning terrorists loose is that the kind of change you really want? You don't have any doubt, do you, that the world NEEDS some transformation?OF course this country has made hugh mistakes. Most of them are still in Washington sad to say. Congress all need to be replaced with people who have a heart for this country instead of their own pocket books
So, if you want to call believing in my country as having drunk the koolaid, have at it.

See, I am just more cynical that you. I do not live in that NE elitest region of the country. I am not among those that believe us country bumpkins are too stupid to understand how bad the situation is.
Let me ask you this really fast.
Congress is the ones who created this entire finance mess in the first place right? So who in their right mind believes that giving this bunch of thieves another trillion dollars will solve anything?

Hello again, 450:
In terms of money, I don't think you are... Buy gold. However, this depression was dropped in his lap.
In terms of the REST of what he's doing, such as closing Gitmo and ending the war in Iraq, he's doing pretty good.
But, in terms of the RULE of LAW, YOU should be THRILLED with Obama, because he's just another Bush apologist. Obama sings with you Righty's in unison - "We shouldn't get caught up in the past. We shouldn't be driven by vengeance and retribution. We shouldn't punish people whose motives in committing crimes weren't really that bad."
He's not going to go after the lawbreakers in the Bush administration. That's BIG. What do you think would happen to YOU if YOU committed a felony? Forgiveness?? I don't think so.
Plus, as a righty law and order Dude, you should want Bush to be held legally accountable, because you're surly going to want to hold Obama legally accountable. No?

Is it not also true that people like Barnie Frank Chair of the banking committee) who are suppose to be responsible for oversight of the banking rules. Is it not thanks to the lax oversight by congress of places like Fannie and Freddy that have caused this entire mess in the first place? Who do you expect is going to pay for this trillion dollars that your Mr. Wonderful wants to now spend on pork? Our children sad to say. This mess cannot be placed directly on one persons lap. Did President Bush make mistakes? Yes he did! But at the end of the day we have not had an attack on our shores since 9/11 thanks to his policies and leadership. If it were up to the dems we would still have our collective heads in the sand while the enemy was torching our asses.
In terms of the REST of what he's doing, such as closing Gitmo and ending the war in Iraq, he's doing pretty good.Do you really believe that turning those people loose will not get American soldiers killed in the future? That thinking has already been proven wrong. One of those createns was released in 2007 and is already back fighting against us

Plus, as a righty law and order Dude, you should want Bush to be held legally accountable, because you're surly gonna want to hold Obama legally accountable. No?No clue what you believ that president Bush needs to be held accountable for? Please elaborate.

Hello again, 450:
For starters, Waterboarding is torture. Our Attorney General said so. Torture is illegal. Both Bush and Cheney admitted very recently to having authorized waterboarding...
On its face, that MAKES a prima fascie case.
Then there's the illegal waranteless wiretapping, that happened LONG before congress authorized it. There is no denying that that occurred too.
These are felony's that we are OBLIGATED by our treaty's and our Constitution to investigate. That is just so. Now, we can ignore it, as we're doing, or we can follow the law.

OK, why did Bush declare war and not Congress?
Why do we help everyone else and not ourselves?
Why don't they teach ethics in schools?
Why do people in power tend not to have ethics? e.g. Merrill lynch paying bonuses to top executives before they were bought out?
Remember "Absolute power corrupts absolutely".
Is there now such a thing as the middle class?

Nope, not any more, there are the rich and the rest of us. Of course the definition of the rich keeps changing. First it was 250 thousand a year, then 225, then 200. Not sure what it is today.

Hello again, 450:
I noticed you skipped my post about torture. I think you're a supporter of torture. Is torture ethical?
It's really a yes or no question. Can you answer it honestly? Or are you going to act like Bush, and mouth the words "we don't torture", all the while torturing...
If you're for it, can you say so? At least Jack Bauer admits it.

Don rebutted and you have not answered to Holder's letting terrorist free?
Or Geithner not paying taxes for several years. Why don't you hold these people and Obama accountable. Your repetitive blathering about GITMO and "torture" may be an indication of Alzheimer's.
Yes, buy gold... because Obama will have the treasury printing out devaluing dollars for his PORKULUS / PORKAPALOOZA that masquerades as an economic stimulus...

I have to believe in this man.
I believe he has helped to unite us as a country and we do help each other. That is who we are as Americans.
I am hopeful,I have seen people come together after 911 and it keeps on going.
We know if we as people are to survive and prosper we need to take care of each other and forgo our government. That is the message I get from my Prez and a message I have known for ever.

Hello again, in:
It's really quite simple. (1) We're not going to release them. (2) We are VERY good at imprisoning people. We stand head and shoulders above the rest of the world on that note. We're the worlds LEADING jailer.

Yesterday Obama policy announced he was for the Unions and they were the backbone on America. Did he forget to read the weekly news how the big American car manufactures couldn't compete with Nissan and Toyota because there workers get paid 30 to 40 dollars and hour and the US. Car manufactures pay between 60 to 70 dollars. So what's the what happened to simple math hear!?
I gooled up what's the most dangerous city to live in of the U.S. 2 months ago doing some research. Then I looked up their Demographics and checked out the schools graduation rates. Some of the city schools had as much as 76% of the students quiting school or just not graduating.
On the news yesterday on the same follow up of Obamas speech it was said that 47% of Detroit is Illiterate. This was on the national news (NOT FOX)
Obama first big news in the papers was closing GITMO release some prisoners. Like this is really an important economy issue.
So who's in there that is all of a sudden ,so important, to be in the forefront for Obamas list of the what the U.S. needs for regrouping. Who's at GitMO to be On top of the list for our new president to worry about a prison in Cuba.
The unions became obsolete when global trading started. Hello any 1st year collage student could tell you that an American car manufacturing paying 70.00 per hrs Can't compete with the home base foreign manufactures pay 30.00 per hr.
Obviously he's not a stupid man so one needs to ask WHY does he say that and WHO is he actually backing. The car manufacturing Company pay The Union workers and who's the greatest king of people working at the plant!
With out getting politically stupid here in rebuttals of my post. Imagine being from off world here and just ask. Why would this Man say and do the things he's trying to do and contradict the Bean and math counters.

That's not true, plain and simple,
TheStar.com | Business | Steelworkers' campaign targets Honda workers
"Union officials say Japanese automakers generally pay workers at their non-unionized plants in North America close to the same wages and major benefits as employees in union assembly operations.
However, pockets of dissension in some plants have emerged over the years concerning alleged unfair treatment of workers."
Obama first big news in the papers was closing GITMO release some prisoners. Like this is really an important economy issue.
Its an American issue though left by the Bushies. As Obama HAS said, he has several things to deal with, not just the economy, like TWO foreign wars! Oh by the way he never said they would be released, just re-evaluated, and processed accordingly.
Why would this Man say and do the things he's trying to do and contradict the Bean and math counters.
Beans and math counters are crunching numbers, and its real humans being crunched in REALITY OUT HERE!

Hi,
I have been with my girlfriend for around 3 years now. The first year and a half was great, then she started graduate school. The program is pretty intensive, and keeps her busy, so I understand that she has to study a lot.
The thing is, she seems so detached and doesn't call nearly like...
