    Washing Machine frozen lines
    Hi,

We live in harrison Ohio and we have been dealing with sub cero temps the past week, we have not used our washing machines since last wed, today we try to start it and nothing, I think the water lines are frozen, we have the washer and dryer in a back storage room with out heating vents, does this create a danger to the rest of the house plumming and would the washer work again?

    Thanks,

    FrankQ

    Hey Frank,
As long as the pipes don't burst or split you'll be OK. Can you thaw the pipes out with a hair dryer or heat strips? I would insulate the pipes with Armaflex, (see image)or heat strips in the future. Good luck, Tom
