    1993 Dodge Van misfires
I have an 1993 Dodge Van B150, 3.9 engine. I have noticed misfires when the temp gets cold. It seems to happen after the engine warms up a little and with speeds 35 mph and above.
Have tried dry gas. Before winter I did remove the inside of the catalytic converter. The O2 sensor is before the converter.

Have you replace the spark plugs lately (Champion only)? Use the exact plug that came in the van and gap to spec.

Recently, a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck I was working on would not start. The owner had installed Splitfire spark plugs, which worked for a while. Later, they broke down and prevented the truck from starting. Installing the specified Champion plugs solved the problem.

I don't know if I'd post on the internet that I deliberately modifed federally mandated emissions components, but it's too late now.

Have replaced the fuel filter? Also, you may have an ignition coil that's beginning to break down. Colder temperatures and higher engine speeds require a good supply of fuel and a strong spark.

I have a 1993 Dodge shadow with a 2.5L motor. It runs poorly right now. I just put a new distributer cap and new spark plug wires on it to hope that they will help. When I first start it up when it hasn't been ran for a couple of hours it has a very rough idle. What should I do to make it run...

1993 Dodge Dynasty [ 2 Answers ]

I have a 1993 Dodge Dynasty. I was just wondering where the water pump would be located on it? It's a 3.0 V-6. I was told by a friend of mine that I would have to pull the motor?! Just want to know where its at, and if that's true or not. Thanks.

Battery drain 1993 Dodge W250 [ 1 Answers ]

If I leave the battery cable connected, the battery drains overnight. If I pop it loose (as I have done every night for weeks) it has plenty of juice to start. I have the schematics, but am having trouble narrowing it down. I pulled all the fuses in the interior and the battery still drains, so I...

95 civic misfires [ 3 Answers ]

I have a 95 civic that at first hesitated to start. Then I noticed that when I started to accelerate after shifting gears it would hesitate or jolt. It then started jolting and sometimes not accelerating while trying to accelerate and driving at a steady speed. I thought it might have to do with...
