A very cheap way of whitening teeth?
Hey,
My teeth are all right in terms on straightness etc, two of them go back a little but I'm willing to put up with them for now.
I really want to have my teeth whitened though, as no matter how much I brush and cleanse them they still seem particularly stained. Is there any cheap alternative than all those expensive treatments as I'm a student and have literally hardly any money.
Thank you :)

Add baking soda to your toothpaste when brushing. This will remove stains, almost before they start and will not do any damage to the enamel on your teeth.

Hellothere,
You can use Crest White Strips for a quick whitening and then to keep them white use a toothpaste like Crest Vivid White which has a stain remover and stain inhibitor in it. You also have to keep in mind that if you smoke, drink coffee, tea or colas your teeth will always pick up stain.

I also use Crest Whitening Pre-rinse. It looks like a white bottle of mouthwash, but you use it before brushing your teeth.
I drink a lot of coffee, and it's done a decent job.

Be careful of any of the rinses that contain peroxide especially if you are a smoker!

Yes, Flossie, and another good point, you are the expert here! I asked my hygeinist after cleaning last time if I could use the whitening kits. I have a few crowns and bridges, etc. She said the whitening kits will only whiten my original teeth and leave the bridges the same colour, and nothing will match. I decided I wouldn't try that as my teeth look great as they are with 6 month cleaning. I still go back to my suggestion of mixing baking soda with my toothepaste. It works for me.
