    OPT employment
    Currently I have an OPT and I am in the process of changing from OPT to H1b. I work full time as a Special Educator (36 hrs). I also have a part time job 2 to 3 hours on Sunday school at Church. My question is... while on OPT can I have two jobs?

    Hi, I am in my OPT too. According to my understanding, the answer is yes. As long as you pay taxes, you will not have any problem.

    If both jobs are related to the area of your study, yes... but if the second job is not related to your field of study, it may jeopardize your status in the future when you want to apply for different visa.
