Theft Under 5000$
OK, here's the story... my buddy called me up said he's trying to rob a train and he needs me to pick him up, its winter and his buddy left him there so being a nice person I went to pick him up... so I'm with my girlfriend at the time and I go to the spot were he is. I call him and tell him to come to the car but he says he needs my help, so I walk to the train tracks and find him there trying to carry 2 boxes... this is funny, he opend a freezer trailer with PIG FEET he's trytin to steal pig feet, almost at the same time I realize this a van shows up and it's the train police. Immediately I said screw this I'm not getting in any trouble so I ran back to my car and took off, unfortunately the van got my licence so a few minutes later I'm pulled over and handcuffed and thrown in the back of the car... as well as my girlfriend who unfortunately was with me at the wrong time... the train police said that there was a blonde girl in the car as a " get away driver" so anyway the cops search my car after I told him I never stole anything.. so the cops talk amungst themselves and eventually me and my girl are released with a promise to apear and I'm just thinking this is so stupid I didn't do anything wrong how can I get charged with this... so after I get back in my car and I call my buddy up and this is the part that piss me off the most, because I left him in the cold he just diceded to give himself up and he walked right to the cops on scene and I'm not to sure what he told them, but he got put in the front seat to warm up, and a nice warm ride home with no fines no nothing when he was the one that did the crime... so now me and my girl both have court dates and charged with theft under 5000 but I'm going to see my attorney soon to figure with out... I'm 18 and my girl is 16 this is both are first offence... any advice from anyone please help
