    Looking for a trucking job
Hello I am in a pickle here. I was working for a major carrier and quit in moment of frustration when they told me there was "no freight today" for about the 5th time in 3 weeks right after I got a qualcom message urging us to recruit new drivers. I have 28 years OTR experience and was with them almost 6 years averaging over 125k miles a year. I went over 15 years with no chargable accidents but then had 3 little parking lot incidents in the past three years and can't seem to find a decent job because of them. Does anybody know of a company that would be willing to overlook those incidents?

Yes they were considered preventable. The first one a lady parked a dark blue pickup truck in my blind spot at a dark truckstop parking lot and I knicked her with my trailor tire. Then a year later I was trying to get out a tight space when sombody parked in a non parking place in our terminal parking lot in Marietta GA. I had another driver watching for me and he watched me back into another tractor. The last one I tried to appeal because a Holland driver said I backed into him while backing into a dock at a Menards store. There was no damage to my trailor and I took pictures showing the damage on his truck had road dust on it and looked to be old damage but they still made it a preventable accident because there were no witnesses except for the Holland driver and he swore I hit him. I think he was trying to cover up something he did wrong but you know how that goes. You got a phone number for STI?

You might want to check your DAC Report to see what is on it. You are entitled to one free copy a year. Learn more at DAC Report For Truck Drivers
