I need to know what kind of pill this maybe it is white round and has a curve looking V on the front and 2533 on back? Help

I can't tell you,but a pharmacist would be able to identify ANY pill brought to them,they go to schooling many months a year to keep up on all the changing meds.

If I told you it was a Valium,what would that accomplish?It might be a vitamin pill,who can tell?

Well I can't be 100% sure until Misty_Pruitt 23replies to southerngalps post RE: the picture of the pill in question.
The picture in the link is unmistakably "Butalbital". Pharmies don't usually have twins roaming around.
If Misty hasn't replied yet, maybe she's not too worried about it after all.

How much continuing education is required of Pharmacists in Illinois? My husband was a Doctor of Pharmacy and also taught and was required to attend a certain number of hours, certainly not a number of months, per year.

I did notice that the numbers were different.
The V is as they described it. I didn't know if they maybe mixed up the numbers.

Since we are dotting I's and crossing T's

Our Walgreen's pharmacist's are required only 30 hours every 2 years.Some have gone back for additional credits to specialize in certain areas,those are the ones who had months.

I don't know that it's dotting "i's" and crossing "t's" as much as making things clear. Your statement was that Pharmacists go to school many months a year to stay current. That's not how it works in NY but maybe that's how it works where you are. I didn't know.

I didn't know you were talking about advanced courses, obtaining Doctorates, specializing. Now I'm curious about Walgreens and areas of speciality - in NY the only areas of specialty certificates are: nuclear, nutrition and nutritional IV's, oncology, pharmacotherapy, psychiatry, none of which can be used in a big box store. In hospitals and nursing homes, of course, they come into play.

Are you a Pharmacist? A very good friend of my husband's is one of the Regional Directors of Pharmacy for Walgreens but I never really talked "business" with him.
