Electric Eye Garage door - how do you open it up?
The wires that enter the back side of my sensor have broken off. How do I open the darn thing to re-attach the wires?

Usually these sensors use a push in type wire connectors. Look at where the wires were connected to, you should see the copper wires broken off in small port holes.

Perhaps you can pull out the wires, but first look to see if there is some sort of release mechanism, typically a small screw driver or a paper clip can be inserted, and releases the wires broken off.

Good idea to find the manual for your system at the manufacturers website, it may eliminate any guessing.

I cannot find a way to open this, but as you say--there must be a release mechanism since the repair guys would need to do the same I am doing. I'll keep trying.
