Switching from Rudd tstat to hunter tstat
I have a single stage heatpump. I changed the tstat out yesterday to a new hunter manual tstat, worked fine last night. Came home from work today and it was very hot in the house, only the fan was running. Now the outdoor unit will not come on at all. I am wondering if there was a mix up when wiring the tstat that could have caused this. Now I do not know how the wired were on the original tstat to be sure I have it wired correctly. Anyone know where I can get such info?

24 hours,, yes that's about right,, most Hunter tstats don`t last that long,, I would try to take it back real quick before the dust settles on it,, get a good thermostat
