    14.5 B&S Cratsman tractor won't start
Last time it ran was last year in the cold. I had to Jump start (with the car battery- car off) it a couple times that day. Last time it would not turn over. I noticed that being in a hurry to get out of the cold I reversed the cables the last time and now when I try to jump it it won't start. Looks like I have spark . Pulled the plug and used the spark plug to get a visual on the spark. I have a 287707 Briggs and Stratton I/C with a Walbro carb. I was wondering if there is a way to check the fuel solenoid. Thought maybe I could have damaged it when I reversed the cables during the last jump start.

So you are still getting the engine to turn over, it just is not starting?
If it is not turning over, check the fuse.

Not the fuse. One thing more though. It seems like it is turning over one crank at a time. Real slow. Not turning over continuously as you would expect. Like a dying battery.

Last time it would not turn over. (in your op).

So now that you have said it is turning over, I would have the valves checked. I think that you will find they are out of adjustment.
