    Replacing heatpump compressor
    I just got an estimate for replacing a compressor for my heat pump which is still under warranty. The qoute I got was 900.00 and was told others would charge 1300.00. I can't help but be a little skeptical does this sound reasonable. This price is all parts and labor and recharging the unit.

    The compressor if free if under warranty. I would get a few more estimates for the labor and materials to install it.
