    Tenant rights in NY State
My landlord received a summons regarding the house being Foreclosed. When I asked If the house was, I was advised that the Bank and a relative of the Landlord are in the process of establishing a 'short sell'.
Where do I stand as a tenant while this goes on and how can I find out what is happening as my landlord is not a reliable source in being truthful with information of this importance?
