I have a question about Medicaid that I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I am
On Medicaid medical for two different disabilities. I have a chance to purchase a small home, but only can afford so much for a home. My dad has offered to give me a gift of money, so that I can afford this small home. I'm going through a Homestead and grant program, and they require that the money be in my checking acct fof at least 60 days.
After I purchase the home, I will be next to broke again. Lol My question is, does anyone
Know , if I put this money from my dad in my account for a short time, and for only
This house buying purchase, what , if any, repercussion would there be from Medicaid?
Who should I contact? I checked with my case worker, and she didn't know... I think she
Should know, or be informed.
