It feels like everythings falling down on me.
It's like, when I get to the peak of my happiness, it all crashes down on me. I feel so depressed lately, I've been real messed up, I'm getting addicted to alcohol, advil, and cigarettes. It feels that there's so much going wrong now I don' know what to do anymore. The kids at school just tear me apart because I refuse to be part of their trend, I hate what they wear, what they listen to, how they act, how they talk, and I just hate them. I distance myself but they won't leave me alone and I refuse to give into their trend. My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and 2 months now, and she gives me the " i thought i liked a guy today" almost every other day to the point its becoming the norm to me. It seems like I'm losing the friends I have every day to that stupid trend. My teacher drives me f****** crazy, he's what I hate the most, he and all the others stress me out to they point I can't take it. He ( and I'm sure many of you hear this but I'm telling the honest truth) picks on literally only me. I'm a straight a student, I'm friendly to those who aren't jerks, and I do my best to keep off his bad side, but if I lose one paper and I ask for a copy he loses it, gives me a lecture of how I need to improve, how I'm not going to make it, how I'm too worried about "being cool and dressing cool" to understand anything. I feel horrible and I really can't take much of this anymore, I don't know what to do, someone please help.

My kids have had teachers that picked only on them. I have known other kids that teachers have 'bullied' One guy I know even went from being straight A to poor grades over the teacher picking on them.
All you can do is work hard and find new friends. Do not give into their 'trend' Often kids will do things like that if they are jealous and want to drag you down. One day you can and will make something of yourself and be successful and the problems you have to deal with now will be not much more than a vague bad forgotten dream.

A few years back one of the day time talk shows (Oprah, Sallie Jesse, Jenny,. ) had a show on 'I was bullied in school but look at me now!' They had the kid the kids got picked on and the kid that picked on them the most. The kids that were picked on had a really good life and the ones that did the teasing had average lives and basically ended up a bit envious of the kid they picked on. They all apologized to the ones they picked on.

Doubt that'll happen. I don't want an apology from them. I want them to get off my case and get out of my life. I'm not too worried about how I'm going to do in life, my teacher makes stupid speeches of the sort all the time so it's common really. I just want it to come back and bite him later on.

Doing well for yourself is your best revenge. It's too bad that your teacher has chosen the field of work he is in if he is going to join the other kids and promote the bullying. A teachers job is suppose to be a positive energy in the classroom, and not a negative force.
I myself might be inclined to stay after class and ask him why he feels the need to single you out in front of your classmates. Although, that could backfire on you and make matters worse, as it seems that your teacher is just a bully himself.

Maybe you could try talking with your school counselor and telling him the situation that you are in. The counselor could maybe take steps to stop it from happening, while keeping your name out of it.

Don't worry about what trends your other school mates are into. They are followers. You don't need to conform. Stand up for what you think is right and don't waver or give in to their silly idea's.

As for your girlfriend? If she tells you again about another guy she has noticed, tell her that unless she is noticing YOU, that you are not one of her girlfriends and you don't need to hear about it, and in fact it is pretty insulting to you. Again, stand up for yourself, and let them all know that you won't put up with their crap!

    Good Luck! ;)

Also, talk to someone about your depression! Don't drown your feelings in alcohol and so on. That will only make matters a lot worse for you in the long run. It might numb you for awhile, but it sure won't solve any of your problem, it will only make them worse, and your grades will suffer even more.
