Sneezy didn't respond to my "time-to-wake-up" nudges this morning... he was zonked out... the dog did though, she was happy someone was awake! :) Hopefully, by this time Sneezy has found the muffins and coffee I left him... ;)

It definitely doesn't feel like sand, more like dozens of hot pokers jabbing repeatedly into your eyes. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced, and I had natural childbirth with both my kids. Yup, it was not good. At one point I was screaming to my husband, just dig out the eyes, I don't want to feel them anymore. I was really in bad shape. But now it's just irritable, the sand analogy works for how I feel now. Rubbing is bad because the cornea is still healing. But hey, guess what, I get to buy a new pair of sunglasses this weekend. My first pair in over 12 years. I can't wait.

Well, my grandparents have both seemingly forgotten the seriousness of the escapade last week and have said that they "don't need help" and that they'll leave for Maine when they feel like it... hopefully, this is just a phase and that they won't really leave... Its been an interesting couple of days on the family front. Mom is still planning on heading down to FL in the next couple weeks... by that time, maybe they will have forgotten their protest and will be thankful for the help.

    Thanks for asking!

    HI!

WELCOME BACK ALTY!! Things've been a drab while you were gone.

HC, my roomie freshmen year did that... cept he did it with Indian music... which gets you a LOT grumpier than hootie does I'm sure. However, his actions were completely unwarranted.

To get back at him... I bought 6 alarm clocks from target... set them all to go off every hour... 1am... 2am... 3am... 4am... 5am... 6am... and one weekend, when I went home, I hid them in various places of the room (under his mattress, inside one of his coats in his closet, in my shoe, in the microwave, in his nightstand drawer, and in his bathroom).

He apparently wasn't too happy about it.

One more time... WELCOME BACK ALTY!

OOO, Sneezy... I like the alarm clock idea... I'll have to find one of those old fashioned ones and somehow attach it to my ceiling... and leave for the weekend... :D Nice thinking!

Hey Sneezy my sweet, how are you? How's the apartment hunting going? Anything new and exciting. Man 5 days feels like 5 years.

Did you eat the muffing the HChicky left you? What kind was it? Personally I love blueberry. Did you save me a bite? I haven't eaten since Saturday, I could definitely use a muffin.

I'd rather have not gotten up... let me tell you! I was quite cozy... ;) But this darn work ethic I've been cursed with won once again... tomorrow though... tomorrow...

Yes, you do owe me one... and I'll make sure to cash in later...

I'll have to bring my muffin basket by your place this afternoon, Alty. Sneezy wouldn't mind sharing, I'm sure... He knows he'll get more... :)

ALTY! Has it only been 5 days?? You're kidding, right?

I DID eat the muffins that HC left me, and they were awesome. She made a sampler... lemon zest, blueberry, banana nut, chocolate chip, etc... although I did find it weird that she made 8... how do you take 2 extras? Perhaps you made 2 dozens and ate 4?

Sorry to hear about your ordeal, but if it's any consolation, the eye's a pretty amazing organ... its tissues heal faster than any other tissue on the body.

Have to take a break for a few everyone. My eyes are starting to get strained. I'll come back in a bit, just need some drops and a few blinks.

Yup, Alty brings out the inner flirt - she's as good as an expensive shot! :D We love our Alty!

Besides, Sneezy and I owe it to Alty to keep her informed of her arrangement... well... informed of the basics, that is... muffins, coffee, walking the dog, etc... everything else... ;)

Sneezy Dear, just wait until you try my Mocha muffins... you'll be in heaven...
