Synn: YAY! New car's always exciting.

On a lesser exciting news, I just got a coffee machine... the senseo pod maker. I figured my keurig deserves a vacation... for about 2 weeks.

I'm sure some people would find that just as exciting as a new car.

I supposedly am supposed to get rain tomorrow, and snow on Sunday.

But it's beautiful and sunny now!

Mmm... I was looking at the catalog this morning, marking which flavors I'm going to get... that was on the top 20 :D

Yes, I did say top 20.

"I'll take one of each, please!"

    Morning all, I'm back!

I can't stay on for long, my eyes are still a bit sore and too much computer use strains them a bit too much, but I'll be here for a bit.

How's everyone doing? I haven't had a chance to catch up on everything I've missed, too much reading for right now. I hope everything is going well.

Synn, congrats on the new car. HChicky, congrats on the new attitude. I got new vision, with a cost, but I think it will be worth it. Ask me in another week. ;)

I've been resting since Saturday, in fact, rest is pretty much all I've been doing. I will be okay. They took the protective contacts out yesterday, which was not fun, and a bit painful. Now my eyes just need time to heal. My vision is already allot better, but still not perfect. Things are still a bit fuzzy, but that's mainly because my eyes are still so sore and strained. Today I just really want to give my peepers a really good rub (which is strictly forbidden). I've been putting drops in every 10 minutes to help with the scratchy itchy feeling, but it really isn't helping. The doctor said that from here on out I should feel better daily. I still need to rest the baby brown's and not overdue it, but I'm on the road to recovery. Let me tell you, this is not what I expected, and they didn't tell me that I couldn't have the more advanced procedure until 5 minutes before the surgery. They also told me that this procedure would leave me in unbearable pain for 5 days, but I still went for it. By the way, they didn't lie, the pain was undescribable, I'd rather give birth for five days straight than go through that again.

Enough about me, how have you all been?

Urgh... that made my eyes water just reading your post! I have a thing about eyes... I'd rather go to the dentist than the optometrist! Blah... But glad they're getting steadily better.

I'm doing quite well actually... Looking forward to a weekend of nothing...

Ahh... I've put my finger on the whole "new attitude" thing... lol... last night at 2 am my neighbors above me woke me up practicing Riverdance. I lived with it for a half hour and then called the front office... completely incoherant and SPITTING mad (crossing HC is not wise)... I told them that my neighbors were in violation of section 15 of my rental contract and they were disturbing the peace. As soon as I woke up (6:30) I turned on Hootie and the Blowfish and cranked it up :D, got ready to leave, and left... Hootie was still jamming away... hehehe.. . not sure if my cd player is on repeat or not, but DON'T MESS WITH HC!

Was that wrong? It sure felt gooooood!! They woke me up one too many times at god-awful hours... this was the third time this week...

    :D

Oh my goodness Alty, I am so sorry. Eyes are nothing to mess with. You are so strong!
I couldn't imagine giving birth five days in a row so I am assuming it was terrible. It is unbeareable even to get a piece of sand in my eye, let alone not being able to rub it out! CHEER AND HUGS FOR ALTY!!

Thanks HChicky, I missed you too.

Were are the boys this morning, didn't you wake Sneezy up before you went to work?

I'm hoping they come on-line before I have to stop. Maybe if I take lots of breaks in between I'll be okay for a bit longer.

HChicky - How is your Grandpa, I hope he's doing okay. How are you sweetie, are you hanging in there? Big hug to you, I've been thinking about you all week and hoping that you're okay.
