I'm not sure I would go as far as courageous, but weird is certainly descriptive.

Oh my gosh Scottgem, this is hilarious, I was watching this on the news the other day. With the medical curiosity side of me, I couldn't tear myself away from it, but it was rather disturbing to me at the same time. Haha. All I can say is... yikes... There are so many different wrong levels of weirdness here, I'm not even going to go there... esp for the kid growing up... I know they said that the wife would still play the mother role, and him the father role, but still... growing up knowing that your dad use to be a girl,, gave birth to you... but as a man... and is still called daddy... not to mention the physical side effects if he has continued testosterone treatments at anytime during the pregnancy... I would LOVE for my hubby to be able to FEEL what it is like to be preggy just for one day, just so he knows its not all an act for attention or milking it for some extra pampering haha, but I wouldn't want him to ACTUALLY DO IT! Of course for that to happen, he would have to have the female side of things, which he doesn't so it wouldn't even matter but yeah, you get my point! Like I said, not even going to go there haha

I don't understand why people are upset with him.

    I think that's amazing!

I think the biggest problem is that people have sooooo many issues with transgender people, even though they SAY they don't.

I don't think that kid is going to have ANY problems with daddy having carried him/her, because if nothing else, that child will know she/he was WANTED, and conceived and carried with love, against society's discrimination.

I think the article says that he'll be playing the father role, but was born with female organs. He was born as 'she' but for whatever reason, now wishes to be known as a 'he' so I respect that. So I'll shake HIS hand.

Ah, but read the other article posted by CBW. He was born as a SHE and underwent boob removal surgery and testosterone injections.

Yea, so born female, but underwent a sex change and wishes to be known as a male. So, I call him a HE. He obviously wants to be known as a male, otherwise he wouldn't be a pregnant HUSBAND. He is a registered male.
