LOL! Yo MA... I'll get you an Irish car bomb if I can have a Corona! All that beer talk from last night is making me crave one! With Lemon... Mmm... Crud, its Waaaaay too early for me...

I've been reading that whole Men isn't Sh*t thread... that poor girl... can't see the forest for the trees... If only she'd open her eyes and see that NO, men aren't all sleezy... sheesh. I've wanted to interject for a while, but haven't yet... maybe today... Rah.. .

Ya, I started to read that thread with the poor girl who thinks all men are Sh*t, she's just bitter right now, I'm sure she'll be fine. I won't post on it though, if I say something the poo will hit the fan, I'm sure of it. Taking Starty's advice, I'll stay out of that fight.

I've got my good old Folgers in a 16 oz. mug. On my second so far, and I think it's going to be a two pots of coffee kind of day. I did like your idea, and I wouldn't object to a corona tonight. How about we all meet later?

Hey, maybe we should have HChicky's coffee shop and Alty's Pub, for after hours.

Okay, Alty switches to Mommy mode. HChicky, drink plenty of fluid, get some echinacea and start it asap, also, chicken noodle soup. Stay in bed this weekend, call Sneezy and let him take care of you. After all, he'll be a Doctor some day, he might as well practice now.

Do you really think I should start a Pub? My threads never go well, I'm ecstatic if I get three responses. I don't want to start a Pub and have it go out of business.

I know, I know... I don't have a land-line, that's the problem. My cell is adequate for everything I need... the whole internet issue is just an extra bill for the month...

That's true.

The funny thing is, when high speed internet access became available in our area, our phone company put together a package that actually ended up costing less then we were already paying for our dial-up service. Now we have super high-speed internet and it's costing us less every month than before.

Hey, if Sneezy moves in with you, you can split the bills, including the bill for internet access. This could work out in allot of ways.

alty, I'm seriously considering just up and leaving atl. After going through about 17 sales pitches about how "wonderful and luxurious" these crappy apartments are... I've had it. One woman advertised it as a "spacious and luxurious 1bd/1ba"... I went to look at it. It's the freaking basement of her house built in 1920!! What the hell?!

I have 2 stories to enlighten you all.

1: remember my Tuesday midterm? Well... there were 4 math questions... took us about 2 hours. I didn't finish the last question... so I felt kind of bad, but whatever. I get an e-mail from the prof after class that states "Sorry guys...but after I looked over the midterm I realized that I wrote #3 and #4 wrong...it was supposed to work out well in the end, but I mixed up the two variables, which led to a messy equation"

It was a messy equation. Near the end of #3, I was writing 3 - 4 line equations. So... to "make up" for it, we have a makeup midterm. Today. I guess I wasn't done yet.

2: some of you know I day-trade. My dad's an entrepreneur... but lately, as the market's doing poorly, he decides to just hold off on his businesses and calls me and says, "How would you like it if I invested some money? I'll give you some money, and you invest...and you take a certain percentage of the gains"

... no father. I would very much not like to put the well-being of our financial status into my own hands. Especially not into my 22-year old, amateur hands.
