    Hello all.

I.. took a "nap" at 9pm (I deserved it)... woke up... just now.

I missed all calls from my friends trying to drag me out. Oh well.

    Going back to bed. Gnite.

Alty:... you're slipping. HChicky's mine and you know it.

    Westy: sore loser :P

    Synn: stop that.

I've been given a few reddies... my last one was ridiculous. Some snot nosed punk kid gave me a reddie without even reading my post! Gar.

    Anyway, gnite.

I have a feeling that we'll break 1500 either today or tomorrow. Should we try and speed up the process or try to savor it by slowly putting giant posts?

Not going to a class. I'm sure the motherly alty will be a little upset... will this make it better?

    1. class has 160 students.
    2. the prof is terrible. I usually just go for attendance sake and read the paper.
    3. I have the 2nd highest grade in the class.

    Hope that helps.

I'm going to sbucks this morning, grabbing midterm materials and going at it. Busy busy day ahead of me... class, work, apartment hunting, work, apartment hunting, dinner plans, apartment hunting, and cleaning the wreck that is my room.

Hope I find an apartment today!

    Have a good'un.

Morning Everyone! Weren't you busy last night! Wow! And a new guy! Guy! Yay! :)

Aww Sneezy, see, you're just looking in the wrong city for an apt... Nashville. You've got to start looking up here.

M - here's your Jessica Rabbit kisses... silly boy... you get them on I'm! ;) But we'll keep that between us...

Yup, I think I'll be starting my next thread today - wondering if I should put it over in Active Members... or leave it in Other Member Discussions...

Oh, about "thread records"... you all DO realize that this thread hasn't even been going for a month! That's GOT to be some kind of record! 1500 in less than a month!

Yay, we might have a record. Synn, what do you think?

So HChicky, Synn doesn't like my Chocolate shop idea. I know that you've been thinking about a replacement for our little coffee shop, care to share? I don't want to be left unawares, otherwise I might not find you guys. Or is that the plan?

Lol... I'm kind of with Synn on that one... I mean, if I had seen a Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate one I may not click on it. I like chocolate, but you all know me... if its not Godiva or Toblerone... its not happening! :D

I was thinking something along the lines of Chicky's Cafe - What's your drink of choice? Same general idea, but maybe we'll get some of the non-coffee drinkers in here :) What you think?

    Oh, Morning, Alty! :)

    Morning to you too HChicky!

    Chicky's Café, I like it.

We have less than 100 posts left. Sigh, I'll hate to see it go. I wonder who will be the last poster?

    Its bittersweet...

Yes, I'll be sad to see it end, but look at the awesome times we've had in this thread! I mean really! Alty, you've initiated a war for my affections! That's something sweet! We've created the Historian - an amazing drink that anyone would be stupid not to like!

All in all, its been a great run - and we have a little more time! :)

I recently discovered Texas pecan coffee, I'm hooked! I buy it at our local H.E.B. grocery store as whole bean and grind it at the store. Now I'm trying to convince my husband that we need a new coffee pot that grinds the beans at home. Not much luck with that yet. When I go to Starbucks, it's the White chocolate mocha latte for me. Oh, and I use Carnation creamer from the refrigerator, no powdered creamer unless I absolutely have to.

MM... Texas Pecan coffee! Wow... that sounds positively delicious!

Yes, Grammy2, you've got to convince your hunny to get you a grinder. They're $20 at Walmart... really... you can't get better than freshly ground coffee in the morning. When you grind it and brew it right away, you lock in the flavor of the coffee oil and it makes your pot sooooo much better. :) Really :)

Have you tried putting a shot of hazelnut in your White Chocolate Mocha? It makes it nutty and yummy :)

Hi Grammy, welcome to the coffee shop. Texas pecan sound like heaven. Mmmmm, all I have today is regular old Folgers, it's the best part of waking up. ;)

If you need help convincing you hubby about the new coffee pot, let us talk to him. We all know how important coffee and coffee pots are, we might be able to give him a nudge.:D

I don't know. He did start another thread were his grammar improved dramatically, it was an amazing transformation. I haven't seen anything written by him today, but I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere, apparently he was quite busy yesterday writing posts under different usernames. I hope he's gone for good.

I've got to go do a bit of grocery shopping this morning before hubby leaves for work. His car is in the shop right now so he's using mine. That leaves me without a vehicle in the evening.

I'll talk to you later sweetie. Hold down the fort while I'm gone.

Haven't tried the hazelnut yet but I certainly will! I'll let you know when I do. My hubby would probably agree to the $20, it's the $150 Cuisenart (probably didn't spell that right) I can't get him to come around to, lol! I like it because of the grinder and the thermal pot that comes with it. Am I being to spoiled?:D
