Sky- Welcome to reality 2008. You figured out that most all politicians have received money one time or another from corporations and other questionable resources? Republicans invented the rise of corporate America. Two words: "Ronald Reagan." Democrats hopped on board shortly after, via the Clinton's. Obama receives greater personal financial support than McCain. Although after finally getting the nomination locked up McCain did start getting some large donations. This is where Ralph Nader was ahead of the curve decades ago and called the buying of America political agenda a corporate disgrace. For all of Ralph's faults he nailed that one correct. I'll tell you something else, here in Las Vegas we run the show. There's a red hot-line phone in the White House marked "Vegas" and when it rings the president answers, "may I help you." The only thing that slows us down is this recession and it's become a great concern of ours. We have to have the tourism, but obviously people tighten up on entertainment spending and I don't blame them. My household has been on stricter budget since Dubya's second term.

You're right about that! His term has been an utter disaster but one just has to wonder if part of the problem is that he was inexperienced in true world politics when he came to office? In other words, Governor does not equal President. And while Hillary and McCain have years of experience, Obama has not. For example, Hillary has her husband who left this country in the black at the end of his term and also created thousands of jobs for people, etc. and she undoubtedly learned much about world government in her husband's eight years in office and Bill would serve as a great advisor to get the country back on track while McCain has more years of realistic life experience both in and out of politics than the two Clintons combined ;) yet his war stance goes against the grain of American thinking or so it seems. They both have plus and minus columns, however. True, that no one has presidential experience until they reach the White House and one can say that mistakes can be made (and are) by both the experienced and inexperienced but it certainly appears that novice White House occupants make a greater overall contribution to the demise of this country. Herein lies the problem.

McCain had twice as much time riding the status quo pine sharing in the recession guilt. Republicans have faced a serious dilemma in supporting John McCain. On one hand they know Bush failed economically, and yet at the same time they know McCain's not the answer. McCain even admitted when debating Romney that the economy was not his strong subject. Most Republicans thought Romney was the answer. I don't think that was the answer either, but it's a moot point anyway.

The Clinton's have masterfully duped the nation into believing Hillary has more experience than Barack Obama. In fact I heard Hillary slip that in one of the earlier debates. The Clinton faithful and even the Republicans swallowed the distortion hook line and sinker. Know this: Obama served both on State and on National senate, which is actually longer than Hillary. Now the following is sourced from a friend of mine that has membership affiliation in the campaign: "He (Obama) co-sponsored over five-hundred bills in two years, fifteen which have made it through. Sixteen of the fifty amendments he's proposed to bills passed giving a much higher rate of being able to construct legislation that actually doesn't get killed. He's much better at coalition building."

Sky, need we compare candidate educations? Obama has a Harvard Degree. He believes investment in education is vital for this country and I really think we owe that to our children!

*Personally I think the best route financially for our country would be Ron Paul, but unfortunately he's a non-factor in the race. We've had so many practical candidates that never had the opportunity.

BABRAM, since you appear to be asking for an education comparison between Clinton and Obama and your mention of Harvard, I thought you might be interested in reading this for a greater perspective. I did not find the comparison with McCain.

Understand that I acknowledge Hillary being very educated, her resume' proves it. But at times her temperance doesn't match keen leadership ability. No doubt the Clinton's run a very ambitious and shrewd campaign. However, Barack is highly educated and to his credit dismantled most of her arguments during the Democratic primary debates.
