    Is period-like blood okay while having contractions?
    I am 39 weeks pregnant with my third baby. I began having contractions this morning around 8am and by noon after using the restroom, I noticed light bleeding similar to a period. Is this normal during contractions?

    I haven't had any children myself but my sisters have had 7 and some spotting is OK but I would still even if it seems like its just spotting check with your doctor, better safe than sorry with your little bundal of joy

    Have you phoned your doctor?

    This is not always uncommon, but can be a possibly serious complication. If you have not contacted your doctor please do so now.

    I had tons of bloody show when I was in labor. In my case it was normal.
