    Where would I get a filter for a Beckett model AFG oil burner and what model # would it be?

    Look for a round filter somewhere on the oil line. Take the number offf of it and by your filter on the net.Beckett is a burner name not a filter name.

    I looking at your post "oil burner maintenance" there is MUCH more to maintain a safe and reliable oil burner... change primary fuel filter, and pump filter, check pump pressure, change oil nozzle, set and clean electrodes, clean CAD cell, field check transformer spark, vac / clean combustion chamber, check & clean venting, and MOST importantly verify the operation of the SAFETY devices ( primary control & limits)... Just to give you a bit more information... this kind of maintenance needs to be done by a HVAC professional, and is beyond the scope of this web site... your safety is the MOST important issue to all of us professionals that answer posts at this site!!
