    Good bye gas hog
    How would I go about getting rid of a truck that I just purchased. I can not afford it at all I pay 200.00a week plus 400.00 dollar pmt. Plus my ins. Went up. My wife is going to KILL me I am literally taking food out of our kids mouthes.

    You could sell it, if someone is willing to trust that you will pay off your loan with the money they give you, and trust you to get the title to them AFTER they pay for the truck.

    You couldn't talk me into that deal.

    Then again, you can do a voluntary repossession, and still end up owing a ton on the truck.

    You really don't have many options. Wish I had better news for you!

    You could have someone take over your payments. Have the loan transferred to their name. Or you could keep the loan in your name, and have them make the payments to you and you send in the payment. I would transfer the loan personally, but it is your deal.

    I have heard people go to Carmax and they will buy your vehicle. I would do a trade for something more fuel efficient.

    You could look in the newspaper often and read all the trade in deals
    That the car dealerships have going on at the moment.
    My sister just traded in her gas guzzler. With her truck and the trade in rebate deal,
    She broke even and has a less payment and a more fuel efficient car.
