    Mini pin microphone not working
I have one of those microphones that's attached to a headphone. Today, I wanted to sing for my friends on msn and plugged the headphones into the black jack and the Microphone into the red one, but to my frustration, my friends couldn't hear anything... I thought I had plugged it into the wrong jack, but switching it over doesn't work and I am pretty sure I had plugged it into the right jack... because the headphone seems to work I can hear things fine... I can't find the microphone show up under sound options so I was wondering why it wasn't recognised, and if doesn't need to be reconginsed and installed, so how do I get it to work?? Because when I tap it it doenst make the sound that all microphones make when you tap them and I can't speak through it help!!
