    IBS and bulimia
    Is there a relationship between bulimia and IBS (sever bloating from constipation)

    Bulimia can definitely mess with your digestive system. Add risk depends on the purge methods used. It is very possible to become dependent on laxatives for normal bowel function. I don't know whether if this was a side effect of bulimia it is still technically called IBS, but I don't think that really matters.

    If you or someone you know is suffering form this disease please seek help. The side effects are horrendous. Also the mental state which perpetuates the disease needs to be addressed asap.

    Fennel tea or chamomile tea or peppermint tea are suppose to be two things that are good for IBS
    I'd have to look up what the other things good for IBS are.
