    Does anyone know of a good immigration lawyer? Trying to get residency for my boyfriend of 6 years!! :)

    Look in your local phone book's yellow pages or call your County Bar Association for the name and phone number of an immigration lawyer.

    Also impossible to know a good Attorney in the area without knowing where the OP is!

    Immigration law is federal law, so your attorney can be anywhere in US, but if require to appear in court, it would be easier and cheaper to find attorney in the same state/county.

    Don't jump the first one you meet, shop around and get different opinions before retaining an attorney. If you are having problems with deportation, contact me for referrals.
