NEVER!! Its never too cold for an ice cap! Or, too hot for a steamy latte! :)

(course, I'm not exactly the best person to ask... I'm a little biased)

    Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhh... bump... crash!

'Ello again! Oh dear I had way too much coffee today in order to get my dissertation finished and off to the prof. Now I can't sleep even though I have a splitting migraine and I am totally exhausted.

Anyone know any boring (sleep inducing) websites?

Next time you need to fall asleep, pop in the movie A River Runs Through It... 3 hours of fly-fishing... BORING!! :D

(If any of you love that movie, my sincerest apologies!)

Mmm... coffee... I'm off and running!

Altenweg - I re-read your daughter's caffeine escapade this morning and laughed again.. that's just so awesome~! :)

    Hi Everyone,

I need a double dose of coffee this morning, my 13 years old black lab is going loopy and spent the entire night barking at nothing. He's going blind and deaf so I can't blame him, but I really wish I had some ear plugs last night. I need my coffee this morning.

My daughter is hilarious, who needs television when you have kids, the say and do the darndest things.

Oh boy... there is nothing worse for sleeping the a dog's constant barking... I understand perfectly! The people in the apartment above me have a min-pin and a beagle (as if the min-pin wasn't enough! Grrr... ). When the min-pin isn't running in circles, the beagle is howling, as only beagles can do. I've called the apt office many times - granted, they're pretty good about quieting the dog at 10 pm, but some nights I actually yell at them through the ceiling... lol... you think that's funny, don't you? Rah... I am a cat person. :)

Yup, agree about kids - don't have my own, but I'm a teacher at heart. :)

What province are you in? My Dad grew up in Quebec and I have hockey in my blood!

I'm in Alberta. Hockey runs rampant here, but I'm not a huge fan. I don't get a thrill watching a bunch of millionaires on skates chasing a little black puck, don't tell anyone I said that though.:p

My dog is now fast asleep, little bugger, must be nice to be a dog, no responsibilities, just sleep whenever you feel like it. I feel like going up to him and barking.:p

I took your advice HC, but it wasn't as satisfying as I expected, he's almost completely deaf and I ended up having to poke him to get him to notice that I was even there. Then he did the whole "I'm a pathetic puppy who just wants your love" bit and I melted. Now he's sitting in the living room with a treat because I felt guilty for disturbing his sleep. Maybe this will be a lesson to him, if you want to keep mommy up all night at least have the decency to bring her a treat, chocolate is always acceptable and will cover many indiscretions.

Hear, hear! Chocolate and coffee cover a multitude of indiscretions.

I got that divinity-in-a-cup concoction again this morning... wow... try it...

    2 shots of espresso
    1 pump White Chocolate
    1 pump Caramel
    Whipped cream

    Mmm... Perfection. :)

I just might do that! (the art thread thing, lol) Yes, it's a hobby. My camera is always in my purse with me just in case the mood strikes. You never know when you'll see a perfect sunset or a shiny moment. The sunset pic on my flickr site is my birthday a few years ago at Indian Rocks Beach, Florida... about 15 minutes from where I lived at the time. I love the picture because it was "my sunset."

I think that's why I love photography. It captures a moment and freezes it for eternity. I love it. :)

Did you say white chocolate? You naughty little instigator, now I have to go to Starbucks. I've got some Folgers in my cup, it's not cutting it though. :(

Everyone in my house seems grumpy today, even the bunnies look ticked. Maybe I should take my entire zoo to Starbucks. That's all I need, my barking dog loaded up on coffee so that he can have another sleepless night.;)

I have probably drank my share of java -- but I think the worst coffee is Chickorie (Cajun Coffee)

Tastes like ground up tree bark -- bad -- I mean really BAD!!

Did you accidentally post on the wrong thread? If not, could you explain, I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning and now I'm confused.:)

LOL! Chicory coffee is definitely interesting and an acquired taste... I'm not sure if I would want to "acquire" said taste, but its good to some people! A friend of mine that grew up in New Orleans swears by the stuff and won't drink anything but chicory coffee...

I've never had ground up tree bark personally, I'll be sure to avoid that particular blend. I love my ice caps, I can't wait until summer comes, I'll have one daily. I just have to keep it away from my 5 year old.

At the bus stop today my daughter said to me "Mommy you don't have to brush your teeth in the morning, you're breath always smells good, it smells like coffee." Some days I could just eat them up, they're so sweet.
