Building a shower pan on a concret floor
I'm buliding a bathroom in the basement of our home and have looked at many books and talked to many people and didn't find the answer I'm looking for. Here's the question... Building the shower pan in the basement on a concrete floor can I put concrete on top of the existing floor to build up my angel to the drain or does the concrete have to be etched first so the concrete will stick and what kind of concrete can I use? A lot I know but please help! THX Packer34

OK, lets start with the shower darin pipe. You know you probably need to jack hammer your floor to run the drain pipe away from the shower, right? Tell me, does your house main drain leave under the floor slab or through the wall? How to Build a Shower Pan
