    Filed wrong forms
    Hi

    I came here in August 2003 on a F1 Student Visa. I think I only filed form 8843 in 2005 and I always filed 1040 online when I had income in 2004 2005 2006 and 2007.

What should I do? I called the IRS line and was told to file 1040X and 8843 for each of those years in addition to 1040NR-EZ is this right?

Thanks. I know that the main difference is that I don't get the standard deduction.
Can I itemized based on past years returns?
Like say I include some Cash donations I made to charity?
I know that in 2007 You need a receipt but what about the other years? It would be something like $200 I estimate

If you have NO receipt, do NOT claim it, as the Form 1040X WILL be examined by a IRS representative rather then just processed by a computer.
