Forced Air Heating - electric igniter lights up but no flames
    Hi

My home meating unit has a problem

After turning on the thermostat, the electric igniter lights up for ~15 seconds but nothing happens, no flames , and than it shuts off, and tries again 1-2 minutes later.

I've check the gas pipe and control that's in the 'on' positions.

Could it be a problem with the Control unit? How do I check?

    Thanks

Check to see if you are getting 24volts to the gas valve. You should have 24v at the two wires on the gas valve a few seconds after the ignitor starts to glow.

Hello In July we replaced the motor and the relay switch on the unit outside the house. The unit had been running fine. Sept. 14 it was a little muggy in the house so I turned the thermostat down to 72 to kick the air on. Nothing happened all I heard was a "click" which would normally start the...

Our single story house with basement has three heating/cooling zones. Each air handler has two fan speeds, but at present (only) the high...
