    I'm from ontario.. and have previously been charged with the same thing...
    What I did was, I just went to court on my own and the court attorney there helped me speak to the crown.. and all I got was community service... after I completed the hours, the whole thing was withdrawn...

    I didn't say you provided it as proof either.
    I was simply saying that the link says summary and therefore it is not a felony and it also says it is dischargable so she doesn't have to worry about it being on her permanent record.
